Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPC at Grateful Guidance, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment strategies within our outpatient framework.

• Leading in-service training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and emergency interventions.

• Administering immediate interventions during mental health crises within the facility, showcasing your ability to remain calm and tactful under pressure.

• Attending commitment hearings as required, ensuring proper representation for the patients' needs and legal rights.
\n
• Conducting thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that include measurable goals tailored to each patient's situation.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous electronic records of all patient interactions to ensure compliance with confidentiality laws and organizational standards.

• Verifying patient histories, including previous mental health conditions and psychotropic medication usage, to formulate relevant therapeutic strategies.

• Preparing regular and special reports that inform team discussions and influence treatment modifications as necessary.

• Coordinating with nursing and mental health staff to facilitate appropriate referrals for patients transitioning out of our care.
