Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexible working hours while collaborating with a supportive and innovative team of mental health professionals. Although primarily remote, our therapists will have opportunities to meet in an outpatient setting for supervision, training, and community engagement activities. We use state-of-the-art electronic medical record systems to streamline communication, giving you more time to focus on therapy and patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assessing initial client treatment needs through intake sessions and conducting Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to form a comprehensive diagnosis.
\n
• Formulating mental health diagnoses according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) guidelines.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practice guidelines specific to each diagnosis and regularly reviewing progress.
\n
• Providing therapy through various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), for individuals, groups, and families in different settings.
\n
• Responding effectively to crisis situations by assessing the urgency of patient needs and facilitating access to the appropriate services.
\n
• Training and educating staff and community members on clinical topics as needed.
\n
• Supervising and providing oversight to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
\n
• Collaborating with community professionals to create cross-system treatment plans for clients.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on maternal clients and individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds who may experience co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Your expertise will help address the social determinants of health impacting these populations, ensuring they receive the comprehensive support required for optimal mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent licensure in the state of Oregon as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic mail communication and computer applications, particularly in using electronic medical record systems.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively while collaborating with large service providers and support staff.
\n
• A deep commitment to influencing positive change in the lives of individuals and families in need of mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Freedom and Wellness Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive:
