Work Environment\n

This position operates within a telehealth environment, allowing for flexible work hours defined within the scope of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions, forming a comprehensive understanding of their treatment needs.

• Design individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, collaborating with clients to establish attainable recovery goals tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to assist clients in challenging and reframing distorted thoughts regarding body image, food, and self-worth.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that help clients develop healthy coping skills, emotional regulation techniques, and strategies to combat disordered eating behaviors.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with our treatment team to ensure comprehensive care, monitor treatment progress, and address patients' holistic needs.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families to improve their understanding of eating disorders, fostering a supportive home environment conducive to recovery.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to the highest legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical expertise in the field of eating disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with eating disorders, ranging from adolescents to adults. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Specialized knowledge and experience in evidence-based interventions for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.

• Strong comprehension of the complicating factors associated with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

• Exceptional communication skills that facilitate rapport and trust building with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, specifically working with individuals experiencing eating disorders or similar challenges.

• Background in telehealth service delivery is preferred but not mandatory.
