Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention and counseling tailored to both brief and long-term needs of patients, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families concerning adjustment and coping mechanisms related to various illnesses and life changes.

• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and respond to urgent patient needs.

• Assist in the clinical evaluation of oncology patients, focusing on identifying symptoms of depression or anxiety and offering short-term therapeutic interventions.

• Act as a resource for staff and other health professionals, providing education on psychosocial issues and best practices.

• Engage in community service initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and educational outreach to strengthen community resources available to cancer survivors.

Qualifications\n
