Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize clients' unique needs and circumstances, including pre-crisis and crisis planning.

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation while adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as guided by clinical best practices to inform therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavioral support plans that effectively address client challenges.
\n
• Participate actively in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care.
\n
• Act as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate comprehensive care for clients.

• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to foster partnerships that enhance community engagement.

• Engage in continuous professional development through conferences, workshops, and statewide initiatives relevant to mental health care.

• Promote the agency’s mission, values, philosophy, and principles in every interaction with clients and community members.

• Perform additional duties assigned by the Clinic Director to respond to organizational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPCC will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional distress, substance use issues, and developmental disabilities. As a counselor, you will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to support their specific needs and empower them towards recovery and independence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Possession of an independent LPCC License in California is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
