Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients manage stress and enhance their overall emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for clients to identify stressors, emotional challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness techniques to each individual’s needs.

• Lead mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during therapy sessions to facilitate self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Organize and facilitate group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and building resilience, creating a community of support and growth.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and therapists to create an integrative treatment approach that supports clients' mental health goals.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, therapeutic interventions, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is essential.

• Experience in the mental health field with a focus on individual and group therapy.
