Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform initial assessments and thorough evaluations to identify clients’ needs, establishing appropriate treatment plans that guide their therapeutic journey.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approach according to the diverse makeup and specific needs of your clients.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists to deliver holistic care tailored to the client’s circumstances.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records through electronic medical record (EMR) systems, adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations in mental health practice.

• Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge by participating in ongoing training, workshops, and staying informed of current mental health research developments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work as a Licensed Professional Counselor will be assisting a diverse clientele within our community health clinic. Our clients include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. Many clients may come from underserved populations, emphasizing the need for culturally competent and compassionate care. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on your caseload and experience.
