Rhythm & Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in Keansburg, New Jersey. Work Environment

Located in Keansburg, New Jersey, our rehabilitation facility is well-equipped to provide a range of physical therapy services in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a routine that promotes work-life balance. This onsite role emphasizes direct patient interaction, allowing therapists to establish meaningful relationships and provide personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to New Jersey state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practices, ensuring compliance at all levels.

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities, crafting detailed and effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Utilize a range of specialized assessments to gather pertinent patient history and document findings accurately, fostering a clear understanding of their rehabilitation journey.

• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, demonstrating adaptability to the evolving healthcare landscape and patient presentations.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers, recognizing changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate an adjustment in their care plan while ensuring timely communication.

• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care for patients, ensuring that documentation reflects all stages of their treatment process, from initial evaluations to discharge summaries.

• Participate in ongoing training and continue to meet corporate and clinical service compliance standards with respect to federal, state, and local regulations.

• Evaluate, treat, and document the necessity for physical therapy services, articulating clear justification for the treatments provided.

• Engage actively in facility meetings and collaborative workshops to enhance the accessibility and quality of care based on performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation facility primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal disorders. As a physical therapist at Rhythm & Motion, you will play a vital role in guiding patients toward recovery through personalized therapy sessions that address their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.

• Must hold an active license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee in New Jersey.

• At least two (2) years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating proficiency in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions is essential.

• A current CPR certification is necessary to ensure the safety of our patients.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong background in manual therapy techniques, as well as those who are familiar with modern rehabilitation technologies and practices. Additional certifications in specialties such as sports therapy, pain management, or geriatrics will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
