Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

This is a newly created role to support the financial reporting and consolidation function. The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, will play a key role in both external and internal management reporting. This individual will work closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller, as well as financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, business unit finance, and corporate accounting teams to consolidate and review the Company’s results. A successful candidate for this role will be strong in both technical accounting as well as analytical skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and coordinate monthly internal reporting and analysis package, including working with the business unit finance teams to streamline process and improve content
• Prepare reconciliation of management financials and GAAP financials and identify unusual period-over-period variances monthly
• Assist in preparation of the periodic GAAP financial statements including balance sheet, statement of comprehensive income, statement of stockholder’s equity, and statement of cash flows
• Prepare support to be provided to external auditors for the annual financial statement audit
• Review mapping of US trial balances and proposes mapping of new local general account or profit center to global chart of accounts
• Assist with the optimization of consolidation and reporting procedures, including reducing the time to close and review reporting results
• Participate in the preparation of materials for the Company's Audit Committee of the Board of Directors' meetings
• Assist with research technical accounting matters and applying them to the business.
• Participate in other accounting functions and special projects as needed.

What We Need from You:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting. Ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of public accounting experience.
