Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services to our clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that help clients share experiences, develop interpersonal skills, and support one another’s recovery journeys.

• Providing individualized and empathetic counseling to clients, exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and assisting in the development of personalized action plans.

• Collaborating with clients to create goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and aspirations.

• Monitoring client progress through regular assessments and feedback, ensuring that their treatment aligns with best practices and therapeutic outcomes.

• Working closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to deliver comprehensive care, coordinate treatments, and consult on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you will have the opportunity to assist these individuals in overcoming their struggles and achieving long-lasting recovery. Your work will not only help clients but also empower their families as they work towards collective healing.

Qualifications\n

Candidates for this position must meet the following qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or higher will be considered an asset.

• Strong understanding of mental health treatment modalities with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients while demonstrating empathy and sensitivity.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and technology for client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
