Key Responsibilities\n

  Provide personalized therapy and develop individualized treatment strategies based on thorough assessments and evaluations.

  Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that all care is rooted in best practices.

  Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused strategies to meet diverse patient needs.

  Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care, sharing insights and strategies to improve treatment outcomes.

  Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and high-quality care delivery.

  Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay at the forefront of mental health research and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a wide-ranging client base that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to support clients from diverse backgrounds and assist them in navigating their mental health journeys, crafting tailored approaches that honor their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

  A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in a clinical setting.

  Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.

  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
