Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing and nurturing a rapport that fosters trust and openness while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, set goals, and discuss upcoming appointments or eventual discharge plans when necessary.

• Engage in comprehensive assessments during client intakes, identifying mental health needs and tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop, implement, and systematically monitor person-centered treatment plans, ensuring they remain relevant to clients' changing needs and circumstances.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, using our electronic health record (EHR) system to track client developments.

• Participate actively in individual supervision sessions to reflect on clinical practices, receive feedback, and enhance professional growth.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and recommendations to ensure holistic, integrated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily targets youth seeking mental health support. As a counselor, you will work specifically with adolescents dealing with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our clinicians emphasize a client-centered therapeutic approach, which empowers individuals to take an active role in their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Possess current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Exhibit proficiency in meeting internal credentialing requirements specific to our clinical environment.

• Demonstrate a minimum of one year of direct clinical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or in substance abuse settings.

• Good computer skills, with demonstrated experience using EHR systems and basic keyboarding proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 65,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
