In this full-time remote role, you will play a pivotal part in providing mental health support to our adolescent clients, implementing person-centered treatment plans, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster holistic care approaches.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Refreshed Mental Health Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients with unique needs, ensuring the establishment of positive and ethical therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular virtual meetings with clients to evaluate their progress, assess stability, prepare for upcoming appointments, and determine discharge readiness when appropriate.

• Collaborating with clients to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and aspirations.
\n
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation for each client, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Performing intake assessments to gather critical information necessary for tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Engaging in weekly individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Participating in professional supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and seek guidance on complex cases.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers to promote integrated care for shared clients.
\n
• Adopting a growth-oriented mindset and participating in ongoing training opportunities to keep abreast of the latest developments in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is working with youth who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment where young clients feel empowered to share their experiences and challenges, allowing for effective therapeutic interventions that lead to meaningful progress.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• Proficient in meeting internal credentialing requirements within clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
\n
• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing, and providing individual and group therapy.
\n
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in documentation software and telemedicine platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Additional experience in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or play therapy is highly desirable, as these modalities can greatly enhance the therapeutic process for our youth clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
