Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at BWL Mental and Behavioral Center, you will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, manage upcoming appointments, and determine appropriate discharge planning when necessary.

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and formulate appropriate therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, promoting ongoing professional development.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
\n
• Adopt a growth mindset in all professional activities, embracing ongoing learning and self-improvement practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with youth clients facing various mental health challenges, including emotional distress, behavioral issues, and substance abuse problems. Your expertise and skills in working with this population will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Possession of a current and valid LPC license.
\n
• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements relevant to the clinical settings in which you will work.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations struggling with substance abuse.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment and diagnosis, as well as individual and group therapy methodologies.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, with basic keyboarding skills necessary for maintaining documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with youth clients, particularly in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
