Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a dedicated caseload of clients, building trusting and therapeutic relationships through regular sessions.

• Conduct intake assessments to gauge clients’ needs, mental health conditions, and establish treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and progress of each client.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation, including detailed progress notes for all client interactions.
\n
• Engage in regular individual supervision and peer collaboration to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities that align with the best outcomes for clients.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care and share insights with fellow healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers primarily on working with youth facing various mental health challenges. Clinicians will have the opportunity to address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and behavioral concerns, helping young clients improve their emotional well-being and life skills. As a member of our team, you will contribute to empowering youth and their families through therapeutic intervention and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements specific to the clinic's policies and practices.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
