Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients and establish strong therapeutic relationships while observing professional ethics.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor progress, discuss therapeutic goals, and determine appropriate discharge plans where necessary.

• Design, implement, and continually assess personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Document client interactions comprehensively, including progress notes and intake assessments, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Actively participate in individual supervision sessions, seeking guidance from experienced colleagues to enhance clinical skills.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and resources to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCPC will primarily serve a youth demographic, engaging with adolescents facing an array of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and behavioral problems. Your role will involve working closely with parents and guardians to create a supportive network for each client, thereby fostering a holistic approach to mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Kansas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust financial compensation package, we provide:
