This contract opportunity focuses on providing vital SLP services to a diverse pediatric caseload across multiple school sites, requiring some travel within the district. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and district personnel as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, utilizing your expertise to help students achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
• Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and therapy documentation
• Ability to work autonomously while partnering with other professionals
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable with an itinerant role and travel between assigned schools

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver assessment, therapy, and consultation services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain appropriate documentation and records per district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to facilitate student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed
• Receive paid travel time between sites and indirect administrative hours
• Adapt therapy approaches to benefit diverse student populations and maximize impact
