Safety Valve Technician

Pay Rate : $25 per hour - $28 per hour Location: Pasadena, TX Duration: 12 Months Work Mode: Onsite Responsibilities Assemble complex components per assembly drawings/bill of material Perform functional testing on assemblies Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools Perform torquing of various components Distribute quality notifications (qn's) Repair safety relief valves to National Board VR Code Test safety valves with air, water, & steam Read and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring charts Understand steam boiler operating and testing Apply measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensions Perform machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs Perform valve write-up Understand the pressure and leak test valves to National Board, API, and ASME standards Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year related experience Experience with the assembly of safety valves is preferred Experience working with dial calipers Experience working with micrometers Experience working with Consolidated products is a plus Preferred Skills Reading and interpretation of assembly manuals Good communicator Attention to detail SAP familiarity (ERP systems) #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Solutions Services, LLC
