Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, gathering relevant information to inform treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Implement and monitor treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring alignment with each client’s goals and progress.

• Document treatment sessions meticulously, including daily progress notes and discharge summaries, to build a comprehensive client history.

• Facilitate consumer groups and lead therapeutic sessions, encouraging participation and engagement to foster community and support among clients.

• Collaborate with volunteers, interns, and other center staff to organize and promote activities tailored to the needs of our clientele.

• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with ethical guidelines, ensuring all client information and interactions are handled with care.

• Act as a liaison to local agencies, maintaining proactive communication to secure resources and referrals that enhance client care.

• Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in the field.

• Assist in generating intake referrals by establishing connections with other healthcare facilities and community programs.

• Stay informed on JCAHO, Medicaid, and Department of Behavioral Health standards to contribute to organizational compliance and accreditation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Clear Beginning Healthcare Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing mental health challenges related to perinatal mental health, trauma, depression, anxiety, and various other life stressors. Your role is critical in advocating for and providing tailored mental health support that empowers each client on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• An active and unblemished license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• No history of malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the U.S., confirming eligibility within the healthcare workforce.
