Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to individual client needs, ensuring they receive the most effective interventions.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to clients through various formats, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family therapy, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline record-keeping processes.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop holistic care plans that address clients' diverse needs.

• Stay informed about advancements in the mental health field by engaging in ongoing training and professional development workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Heart Share, you will engage with a varied client base, including individuals facing trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, and relationship challenges. Our focus is to support clients who often have limited access to mental health resources, using culturally competent strategies tailored to their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential.

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
