Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; weekend coverage as needed

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center with 554 staffed beds and Teaching Hospital environment
• Emergency Department with 53 rooms, 68 beds, serving 170-200 patients daily
• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with collaborative interdisciplinary support
• Cerner charting system; orientation includes 24 hours of training
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension; no parking fees
• High acuity environment with 60-80% of ED patients being admitted or held

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico RN license (may be pending at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience strongly preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (TNCC required before submission; NIH may pend)
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred; new travelers with 2+ years Level I experience may be considered
• Proficiency in arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line management, IV vasopressors, and trauma/resuscitation
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius of facility
• No RQI certifications accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
