Mind Focus Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home while supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of individuals, couples, and families struggling with various challenges.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients virtually. However, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate and participate in team meetings and functions at our outpatient office in Denver, fostering a strong sense of community within our organization. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, helping clients explore personal challenges and develop coping strategies.
• Facilitate couples therapy, providing a safe space for partners to discuss relationship issues and nurture effective communication skills.
• Guide family therapy sessions, addressing systemic dynamics and facilitating open dialogue to promote healthier relationships.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Perform thorough assessments and diagnostics of mental health disorders to accurately inform treatment decisions.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and educational professionals, to coordinate holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Mind Focus Counseling Center, you will primarily work with diverse populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family dynamics, and marital challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their mental health concerns and cultivate healthier relationships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting, providing therapy to couples and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for fostering healing relationships and promoting mental wellness.
• Ability to work independently while also engaging in collaborative efforts with a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with a background in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or family systems therapy are especially encouraged to apply. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution-Focused Therapy, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
