Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment tools and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continually; implementing targeted interventions to enhance treatment efficacy and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes using our state-of-the-art electronic health record system.

• Foster collaboration among patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care that aligns with patient-centered goals.

• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and coping strategies, contributing to better mental health outcomes.

• Provide mentorship and training opportunities for students and interns, passing on your knowledge and best practices in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals and families affected by cancer, navigating the emotional and psychological complexities associated with the diagnosis. You will work to instill hope, provide psychosocial support, and facilitate coping mechanisms, ensuring that each patient feels understood and valued. Your expertise will contribute to creating tailored interventions that respect cultural diversity and individual preferences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
