Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Provide continuous observation and support to clients, ensuring their emotional and psychological needs are met in alignment with their treatment goals.

• Document daily progress notes with clear reflections of clients’ advancements toward their established goals, ensuring they are completed by the end of each shift.

• Utilize crisis management skills to assess and respond to any significant changes in clients’ behaviors, including the identification of warning signs of aggression.

• Advocate for necessary services on behalf of clients, connecting them to resources that can enhance their therapeutic experience.

• Orient clients and their families to treatment processes, fostering a supportive atmosphere throughout their care journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily serve adults, couples, and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. Your work will not only focus on individualized therapy but also extend to group therapy engagements, enhancing community ties and collective healing for those we serve.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Licensing: Must hold an independent license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state board. Limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.

• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with a proven ability to make informed professional evaluations and decisions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients, coupled with strong crisis intervention abilities.

• Proficient computer skills, capable of navigating electronic health record systems to facilitate patient documentation and recordkeeping.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within community-based settings or clinics is preferred.

• Prior experience with a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
