Gleam Skin Wellness Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team in Jonesboro, Georgia. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 125,000 to 190,000 annually. As a key member of our clinic, you will provide specialized care in dermatology, focusing on both medical and cosmetic dermatological treatments.

Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in Jonesboro, where a collaborative and supportive environment fosters professional growth. Working onsite, you will interact closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and support staff, contributing to a seamless patient experience. Our clinic maintains a fast-paced atmosphere; thus, adaptability and effective time management are essential skills for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality dermatological care, evaluating and managing patients with diverse skin conditions.
• Operate autonomously within the scope outlined by the supervising physician while recognizing scenarios that call for consultation.
• Comfortably manage a patient load of 30 or more visits per day, utilizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, EMA, for thorough documentation.
• Provide supervision and guidance to clinic staff, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
• Educate patients about skin health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies, fostering a patient-centered clinic atmosphere.
• Participate in the execution of dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy as needed.
• Stay updated with current advancements in dermatology to apply best practices and innovative treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Dermatology Nurse Practitioner will serve a diverse patient population in Jonesboro and the surrounding areas. Our patients range from children to adults experiencing various skin issues, including chronic conditions, cosmetic concerns, and urgent dermatological needs. Qualifications

• A valid Nurse Practitioner state license is required to practice.
• Education requirements include a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), preferably with a specialization in dermatology or a related field.
• Must possess board certification as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-BC) or an equivalent credential.
• Proficient in executing various dermatological procedures and knowledgeable about dermatological therapies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing effective interaction with patients and colleagues alike.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, especially EMA, to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding patient-centered care while building rapport and trust with patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least one to two years of experience in dermatology is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced dermatological treatment modalities and latest research developments in the field.
• Experience in educating patients on skin health and guiding them on treatment plans for various skin concerns, enhancing their treatment journey.
• A history of working collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
