Social Media Content Creator

Abbott seeks a Social Media Content Creator for its Public Affairs division to develop and produce engaging social-first content across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. The role involves content strategy, video production, cross-functional collaboration, and optimization of organic and paid social campaigns to elevate brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media content strategies aligned with brand voice and business priorities
- Plan, produce, and edit engaging content for Abbott's owned platforms using design tools like Canva
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ideate and develop content aligned with business announcements
- Optimize content for different platforms; monitor metrics and translate performance insights into strategy improvements
- Stay current with platform trends and algorithm changes to identify real-time content opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on social media content creation experience
- Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and production techniques
- Experience with organic and paid social content on major platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
