Accounts Payable Specialist

Growing Food & Beverage Company | Santa Ana, CA | 100% In-Office $70,000–$85,000 annually + Great Benefits Plan2Placement is partnering with a growing Food & Beverage company in Santa Ana, CA, to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their expanding accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys being part of a collaborative team, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to grow with an organization that is continuing to expand. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience , strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals. What You'll Be Doing Process a high volume of invoices while ensuring accuracy and proper coding Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal teams and vendors Assist with vendor setup, maintenance, and payment-related inquiries Prepare and coordinate vendor payments through various payment methods Perform AP account reconciliations and research outstanding items Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation Partner with Purchasing, Receiving, Accounting, and other departments to resolve issues Monitor outstanding invoices and help ensure payments are made according to established terms Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when needed Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency Support additional accounting projects as the company continues to grow What We're Looking For 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with invoice processing and vendor payments Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with an ERP or accounting system preferred Food & Beverage, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or other high-volume industry experience is a plus What You'll Receive $70,000–$85,000 annual salary Great benefits package 100% in-office position in Santa Ana, CA Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to join a growing and evolving organization Opportunity for professional growth and increased responsibility Why This Opportunity?
