Lead with Purpose. Inspire Change. Transform Communities. Community Assistance Network (CAN) is seeking an exceptional, visionary, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead one of Baltimore County's most impactful human services organizations. This is an opportunity to shape the future of a respected nonprofit organization while making a lasting impact on thousands of lives throughout the Baltimore region. What You'll Lead * Provide visionary leadership that strengthens organizational stability and supports sustainable growth. * Steward financial resources and fundraising efforts to ensure long-term organizational success. * Build and strengthen relationships with government agencies, foundations, corporations, donors, and community stakeholders. * Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture where employees are empowered to thrive. * Advance innovative solutions that address homelessness, housing instability, and related community needs. * Partner effectively with the Board of Directors in governance, strategy, and organizational advancement.

• Serve as a visible ambassador and advocate for CAN throughout the community.
• Lead with transparency, accountability, collaboration, and integrity.

• Demonstrated history of leading complex organizations or programs
• Experience with financial management, budgeting, and resource development
• Success building relationships with boards, funders, partners, and community

stakeholders

• Strong people leadership and employee engagement skills
• Strategic planning and organizational development expertise

• Passion for addressing social and economic challenges facing vulnerable
