Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status, identifying their emotional and psychological well-being.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans aligned with their needs, aspirations, and goals.

• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued effectiveness and responsiveness to changing needs.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Work with interdisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, advocating for clients' wellness at all times.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, implementing skills and resources to stabilize their situation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, supervision, and participation in peer reviews to enhance competencies in mental health counseling.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring strict confidentiality regarding client interactions and sensitive information.

• Promote self-care practices for clients and encourage their participation in wellness-related activities to enhance their mental and emotional health.

• Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging virtual therapy platforms to deliver effective clinical services while ensuring a secure and confidential environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied client base, focusing primarily on teens, adults, and couples facing dynamic life challenges. You will be tasked with understanding and addressing individual needs pertinent to each unique situation, fostering a therapeutic alliance that empowers clients to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A current and independent license in your field (Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - LPCC, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology - PsyD) is required.

• Active licensure must be obtained through the appropriate licensing board in California.

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of experience in providing direct therapeutic services, particularly individual and/or couples therapy.

• Experience working with clients experiencing a range of mental health issues preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
