Title : Accounts Payable Specialist
Location : Downers Grove, IL
Hire Type : Long Term Contract w. Benefits/PTO
Compensation : $30 - $32hr

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, resolving discrepancies, completing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Job Duties:
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Work within SAP to support Accounts Payable functions
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Review and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Respond to vendor questions and payment-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry
- Support document management, including scanning, filing, copying, and other administrative tasks
- Assist with additional Accounts Payable and clerical responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Must have knowledge of SAP Accounts Payable
- Experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
