Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify their specific needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic techniques and client goals.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions with clients, providing ongoing support and interventions to foster their emotional healing and personal growth.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress, treatment plans, and session notes accurately and timely.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, employing strong conflict resolution skills to address urgent client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselor will work with a diverse range of clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and substance use challenges. A focus on cultural competence ensures that we address the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients, fostering an atmosphere of respect and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience, providing therapeutic support in clinical or community settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
