Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses to evaluate a patient’s mental health status, utilizing industry-standard tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Develop individualized treatment plans that consider cultural diversity and the unique needs of the patient population, ensuring effective interventions that promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Monitor patient progress continuously and adapt strategies as required to support ongoing mental health needs.

• Prepare and maintain all necessary treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner, following established regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.

• Collaborate with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive and coordinated care plans aimed at achieving the best possible outcome for each patient.

• Provide education, guidance, and mentoring to students, interns, and team members, enhancing the development of the next generation of social workers.

• Facilitate strong connections with referral options to ensure continuity of care and effective linkages between patients and treatment providers.

• Actively participate in peer-to-peer reviews, clinical discussions, and team meetings to promote quality and accountability in our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with patients and their families who are navigating the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. The LCSW will provide compassionate support, addressing not only the mental health impacts of cancer but also facilitating connections to additional resources and support services as needed.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
