Business Development Manager

Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off We are looking to hire a business development/relationship management professional in the Worcester/Bristol Counties in MA and Providence County in RI, for our growing sales department. This is a role in a recession- and pandemic-resistant industry, with opportunities for uncapped commission and professional growth to go along with a base salary, bonus structure, and benefits. Responsibilities Develop the pipeline of new business through prospecting, with thorough knowledge of the marketplace, service offerings, and competition. Develop and maintain key relationships with clients, including but not limited to: Property Managers, Business Owners, Healthcare, Hospitality, Agents, Brokers, Insurance Adjusters, Maintenance teams, etc. Identify targets: existing relationships and new targets for Disaster Response; prospect in the field during the hours of 10am–4pm, Monday through Friday. Conduct education and training programs to grow sales with Commercial and Residential opportunities, including CE, Lunch and Learns, and Co-Marketing Events for Property Managers, Business Owners, Healthcare Facilities, Agents, Brokers, Insurance Companies, etc. Execute tactics to support overall company strategies/goals by identifying potential sales opportunities within the insurance/restoration industry. Work in tandem with the Sales Consultant to drive profitable revenue growth. Participate in Insurance Industry Events at least 2 times per month. Join industry associations to generate leads. Utilize CRM software to manage new and existing clients and accounts; maintain records of all marketing activities daily. Attend training courses and continuous learning opportunities to refine skills. Represent Disaster Response at tradeshows, golf outings, and similar events when applicable to create business opportunities; contribute to engaging displays and brand awareness. Qualifications 3+ years outside sales experience required; restoration industry experience is ideal but not required. Ability to attend networking functions 2–4 evenings per month. Moderate-level Microsoft Office skills. Experience inputting and tracking sales-related data in a CRM system is ideal. Valid driver's license. Outgoing, driven, team-oriented attitude.
