ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Administrative Assistant IIs perform moderately difficult administrative duties, which involve researching, reviewing information, and providing alternatives for administrative assignments of limited scope; preparing various reports; and serving as liaison to other areas within the Court. Administrative Assistants II carry out their assignments under general supervision and are required to apply a thorough knowledge of Court and unit policies and procedures, as well as use judgment in selecting and modifying appropriate procedures to resolve a wide variety of routine to non-routine and moderately complex problems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the final filing date of this bulletin: Option I: 60 semester (90 quarter) units from an accredited college or university* and two (2) years of responsible office administrative or secretarial experience**.
Option II: Three (3) years of responsible office administrative or secretarial experience**.

** Office administrative or secretarial experience is defined as performing a wide variety of routine administrative duties in areas such as bookkeeping, office or records management, including but not limited to gathering, compiling, maintaining and distributing reports, procurement tasks, and payroll/timekeeping.
Note: Credit for experience is based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a pro rate basis (e.g. working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience). Overtime does not count toward additional credit.

Options Benefit Plan
Benefits may be purchased using a tax-free monthly benefits allowance between $1,127.65 and $2,430.50 for the 2025 plan year (based on number enrolled in medical coverage). If the monthly cost of the benefits selected is less than the monthly allowance, the employee receives the difference as additional taxable pay, up to a maximum of $244.00. Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees may contribute up to $266 per month into a tax-free Health Care Spending Account and up to $400 per month tax-free into a Dependent Care Spending Account. The Court contributes up to $375 per month to the Dependent Care Spending Account.
Leave Benefits
Vacation - All permanent and other designated categories of employees are eligible to earn paid vacation based on years of service. Vacation time may not be used during the first 6 months of employment.
Sick leave - Depending on the length of service and employment categories, up to one day of full pay per month of service is accrued monthly for qualifying service.

Deferred Compensation Plan (457) - Optional tax-deferred supplemental retirement plan that includes a County match of up to 4% of employee's salary.
