Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, is seeking a Finance Coordinator to support a high-performing finance team in Livermore, CA . This is a 5-month hybrid contract opportunity with the potential for extension and possible conversion to a permanent position. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

This role is ideal for an early-career finance or operations professional who is highly organized, communicates effectively, and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will support purchase order processing, vendor coordination, invoice management, and facilities-related financial activities while gaining exposure to a large enterprise finance operation.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, purchase orders, and payment-related questions.
• Process and track vendor invoices and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Management team on financial and operational requests.
• Maintain accurate records and update financial tracking systems.
• Support process improvement initiatives, implementations, and related administrative activities.
• Prepare and manage spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office tools.
• Collaborate with finance team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Follow established procedures while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree.
• 0-3 years of finance, accounting, administrative, or operations experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with Coupa and/or myBuy.
• Experience with PeopleSoft.
• Experience using Smartsheet.
• Previous exposure to purchase order processing, invoice processing, or vendor coordination.
