Kitchen ManagerThe Kitchen Manager of CJ's Brewery is responsible for the development, training and retention of key employees, team performance, increased sales and profitability, and effective cost controls. Multiple managers' work together to ensure the restaurant meets established financial and operating performance goals.Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Managing performance of all team members including cooks, dishwashersSupport initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest countsMaintain cost controlsOrderingMonitor completed food product to ensure company standards for presentation, taste and temperature are being metRespond to guest and associate comments and criticism in a constructive and positive mannerRestaurant administrative duties include maintaining labor efficiencies, ensuring proper levels of service, supporting overall restaurant sales and profitability goalsRequired Qualifications:Must be 21 years of ageMinimum 2-4 years of experience in full service restaurant is requiredAt least 1-3 years of supervisory experience is preferredPrivate events and banquet experience is a plusGood people management skills, communication and listening skillsPossess time management and organizational skillsInternally motivated with a passion for teaching othersMust be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidaysSalary:Commensurate with experience.
