Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, informing a thorough understanding of their mental health needs.

• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that consider each client’s unique goals, preferences, and challenges, ensuring the integration of evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor and document client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on the effectiveness of interventions.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s treatment are considered.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to continuously improve treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work closely with individuals and families who may be facing significant life stressors and require guidance and support to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
