Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain a deep understanding of clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and therapeutic goals.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions focused on a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenges related to life transitions.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers—to ensure that clients benefit from a well-rounded plan of care.

• Keep accurate and timely clinical documentation that meets both ethical and legal requirements, using our dedicated electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to reinforce skills, stay updated on best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and enhance service accessibility for underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals aged 5 and up, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will address a wide array of mental health challenges, providing tailored interventions that promote emotional well-being and resilience. Understanding the unique dynamics of family systems and cultural backgrounds will be crucial as you build therapeutic alliances and foster trust with clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals facing diverse mental health and behavioral health challenges, including familiarity with co-occurring disorders and evidence-based therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance metrics.
