Start IV/saline lock. Perform INR and glucose testing. Prepare patients for and assist physician in endoscopy procedures. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in the electronic health record. Recovery of sedated patients and discharge assessments. Utilize proper infection control techniques. Monitor all aspects of patient care, anticipate patient and physician needs. Instruct individuals and families on topics such as health education and disease prevention. Additional Responsibilities May Include: Infusion and injection administration Esophageal Motility/PH testing ARM/Biofeedback InterSTIM wire placement and removal Assist with BRAVO Capsule placement Capsule studies Maintain supplies by keeping supplies stock for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed On-Call Prep RN (Vadnais Heights Endoscopy Site) Responding to patient calls while on call (evening, weekend or holiday) At our Vadnais Heights, Lakeville, Northeast Minneapolis and Maple Grove Endoscopy Sites: Admission, recovery, and procedural care of #J-18808-Ljbffr MNGI Digestive Health
