Responsibilities: Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures and provide quality care to patients. Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System). Assess patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment in accordance with Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines. Train students and staff as assigned. Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families. Assess data reflective of patient status, interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirement and/or specific needs, and provide care per applicable policy and procedures. Interact with patients, families, visitors, and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate, and manage the plan of care. Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in OB/Gyn, Abd, or Neurosonography. CPR certification required. No experience required.
