Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,694–$1,776 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, day shift (12-hour shifts) Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital in the NICU Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for NICU patients or an assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; coordinate care with other disciplines; apply critical thinking and clinical judgment Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, and develop plans of care to meet patient outcomes; implement and evaluate progress Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and patient-centered care; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Provide patient and family education; delegate appropriately and coordinate the duties of the healthcare team; maintain a safe, clean, and individualized NICU environment Maintain professional standards and participate in ongoing learning opportunities to support neonatal care best practices Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required BSN degree preferred Minimum two years of recent nursing experience in the field; acute care experience preferred Ability to work in a NICU setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Credentialing and licensing assistance Housing assistance may be available Extension opportunities may be available On-assignment onboarding and professional support Find more opportunities To explore other openings from the hiring organization, please visit Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
