Controls Technician

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Controls Engineer I/II to join their team. As a Controls Engineer I/II , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Manufacturing, Production, and Continuous Improvement Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , excellent communication abilities , and leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Controls Engineer I/II Location: Holland, MI Pay Range: $30-34/hr. (shift differential of + $1/hr.) Shift: 2nd (230-1030p) What's the Job? Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, and set-up personnel throughout all phases of production. Troubleshoot, implement, and maintain PLC, robotics, vision, and servo control systems. Working in a clean room environment Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, downtime reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements. Perform process verification and support quality, ISO, and IATF compliance activities. HAnds-on and on manufacturing floor What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent controls troubleshooting experience. Experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo controls. Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Denso, Cognex, Keyence, Beckhoff, Wago, or similar automation platforms. Strong troubleshooting, project management, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or within cross-functional teams. What's in it for me?
