Fabrication Operator

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Assemble and install metal building structures, including but not limited to standing up walls, roofs, sheet metal, fiber insulation, and foam board insulation.Install doors, windows, panels, framing, and other structural or mechanical components according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.Perform detailed assembly work to ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer standards.Verify materials and hardware to confirm completeness prior to shipment.Safely operate forklifts, man lifts, and other material handling equipment.Load, unload, position, and secure building materials and finished assemblies for transport.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping.Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.Work independently when required while remaining aligned with team goals.Adapt to changing priorities, production schedules, design changes, and unexpected challenges.YOU HAVE:High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience in construction, carpentry, Drywall, General Construction, Insulation or related hands-on trade.Ability to operate small tools, grinders and drills.Familiarity with mechanical assembly, installation processes, and use of hand and power tools.Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and detailed work instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip. Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. consistently.
