Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' unique needs and preferences, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to address diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of clients' well-being are addressed.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health by participating in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, training sessions, and clinical supervision.

• Contribute to program improvement initiatives by providing insights and suggestions aimed at enhancing clinical services and optimizing client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise will assist adults, families, and groups seeking support for issues ranging from stress and anxiety to complex trauma and mental health disorders. The emphasis on culturally competent care ensures that clients feel understood and respected in their unique contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license or certification in California, including LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, is required to practice in this role.

• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling, ideally in an outpatient or community-based setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster quick rapport-building and trusting relationships with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred, allowing for efficient client documentation and management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
