Strategic Account Manager, National Accounts | PropTech & Physical Security Stop Crime. Protect Communities. Build a Category. We partner with the country's leading property managers and owners to protect their communities, reduce liability, and create safer places to live and work. We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager who can take our most important national customer relationships and turn them into multi-million-dollar partnerships — while building the playbook that scales to the rest of the property management industry. This is not a maintenance role. It's a growth role. The Opportunity We already have a foothold inside one of the largest property management companies in the United States — 14 properties under contract, and well under 1% of their national portfolio. Your job is to grow that relationship from 14 properties to 50, then 100, then a meaningful percentage of their nationwide footprint. Then we run the same playbook on the next national partner. And the next. You'll report directly to the CEO and partner with him on strategic deal structure, executive sponsorship, and the national accounts roadmap. You'll have the autonomy to build this function, the air cover to do it right, and the equity to share in the outcome. What You'll Do Own a small portfolio of strategic national property management accounts end-to-end — from regional managers to corporate operations, risk, and asset protection leadership. Grow each account significantly year-over-year by adding properties, services, and premium tiers. Build executive-level relationships at customer headquarters and position Overwatch as a preferred national vendor. Develop the business case property-by-property using hard data: incidents prevented, response times, liability and insurance impact, resident retention. Run regional and corporate-level Quarterly Business Reviews with confidence. Negotiate and close Master Service Agreements, multi-property contracts, and multi-year renewals. Coordinate with Operations, Monitoring, Onboarding, and Product to ensure every new property goes live on time and performs. Capture customer feedback and influence the product roadmap as the voice of the property owner. Generate referrals, case studies, and testimonials that fuel growth across the broader property management industry. Travel to customer sites and regional offices nationally (estimated 30–40%). What We're Looking For Required 5+ years of strategic, enterprise, or named-account management experience in B2B SaaS, subscription, or technology services. Proven track record of growing a single strategic account by 3x or more — ideally with a Fortune 500, national multi-site customer. Comfortable and credible at the executive level (VP, SVP, C-suite) of large enterprise customers. Strong commercial skills: master service agreements, multi-year contracts, pricing negotiation, RFP responses. Excellent written and verbal communication — you can build a board-grade business case and present it without notes. Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), Excel/financial modeling, and modern collaboration tools. Willingness to travel nationally (30–40%) and a valid driver's license. Strongly Preferred Direct experience selling into or partnering with major property management companies (multifamily REITs, third-party managers, national operators). Background in physical security, video surveillance, access control, monitoring services, or PropTech. Experience designing and executing a 'land-and-expand' national rollout from a single anchor customer. Familiarity with multifamily operations, property insurance / risk management, or NOI drivers. Experience at an early-stage or scaling company where you helped build the strategic accounts function. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $95,000 – $105,000 (depending on experience). Variable compensation: $55,000 – $85,000 at 100% attainment. Uncapped, with accelerators above plan. Meaningful equity participation — this is a core strategic hire.
