Surgical Account Manager - Oakland/Walnut Creek

Medtronic Inc

Medtronic seeks a Surgical Account Manager to drive sales across its surgical product portfolio in the Oakland/Walnut Creek territory. The role involves managing customer relationships, executing strategic sales plans, and expanding market adoption of surgical technologies across multiple product categories.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for Medtronic account teams including district managers and sales operations specialists
Develop and execute account-level contractual strategies and optimize surgical product category expansion
Conduct quarterly customer business reviews to assess performance and identify growth opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers
Drive adoption and utilization across stapling, energy, electrosurgery, wound closure, and instrumentation product lines

Requirements

High school diploma plus 6+ years sales/clinical experience, or associate degree plus 4+ years, or bachelor degree plus 2+ years
Medical device, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences sales background
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
Operating room sales experience with quota attainment track record
CRM software proficiency (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong clinical environment knowledge and stakeholder communication skills
Territory-based sales management and business development experience
