Full-Time Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation Center

Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation center in Culpeper, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in Culpeper, Virginia, our rehabilitation center provides a supportive and collaborative environment for healthcare professionals. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and resources to promote optimal patient recovery. You'll be working directly with a knowledgeable team in a full-time, onsite setting, following a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm. This consistent workweek allows you to build strong relationships with patients and familiarize yourself with their ongoing recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized care plans that align with their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Administer hands-on therapy, utilizing various manual therapy modalities designed to improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to each patient's capabilities and therapeutic requirements, constantly adapting as progress is noted.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly, ensuring optimal recovery speeds and outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory standards using EMR software such as Web PT.
• Educate patients on the importance of strength, flexibility, and balance in their rehabilitation, promoting non-surgical alternatives to medications where appropriate.
• Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to empower patients throughout their recovery journey, reinforcing their commitment to therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including referrals where necessary.
• Stay current with the latest advances in physical therapy by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care, you will mainly work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these patients, you will be instrumental in their rehabilitation journey, promoting recovery through evidence-based interventions and personalized care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license within the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate documentation.
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and a continuous desire for professional growth.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, especially focusing on sports therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing personalized exercise programs for rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in physical therapy practices, particularly in non-invasive treatment options.

Compensation and Benefits
