Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our professional team in Culpeper, Virginia. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office in Culpeper, you will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced lifestyle while engaging in fulfilling work. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients with a range of orthopedic conditions, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical judgment to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Implement and adjust individualized treatment protocols in accordance with ongoing assessments, ensuring responsiveness to changes in each patient's health status while adhering to the latest evidence-based techniques.

• Document patient care activities accurately and timely, including initial evaluations, daily treatment notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regularly, maintaining an interdisciplinary approach for optimal patient care outcomes.

• Participate actively in clinical education and training sessions to keep abreast of advancements in physical therapy techniques and industry standards.

• Lead patient education efforts, explaining treatment protocols and encouraging self-management strategies that empower patients in their recovery process.

• Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues, patients, and their families to ensure a supportive care environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will predominantly work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, trauma, and chronic conditions. Understanding a diverse patient base with varied needs will be essential for developing effective treatment strategies that promote mobility, alleviate pain, and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.

• Active and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, particularly experience dealing with orthopedic cases.
