Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to treat various conditions, adapting techniques to meet each patient's unique requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient outcomes and expedite recovery times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, pediatric needs, and neurological disorders. Your ability to connect with each patient will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain function and confidence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Proficiency in computer applications and documentation is essential to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
