Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities aimed at restoring physical function, enhancing mobility, and reducing pain levels.
• Utilize advanced techniques and interventions, including functional training and post-operative rehabilitation strategies.
• Educate patients about their conditions, guiding them through their rehabilitation process and fostering self-management skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, ensuring that treatment records align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with the healthcare team to actively discuss patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary for optimal care delivery.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients and addressing any concerns promptly and thoughtfully.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, but you will also have opportunities to work with clients across a range of specialties, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid State License to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating hands-on expertise.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
